About Our Partnership
The Barger Leadership Institute (BLI) is a University of Michigan community dedicated to developing the next generation of great leaders. In 2017 The London Idea and BLI will be partnering together to fund, mentor, and develop a London Idea Project - a small group of proven undergraduate student leaders with a strong foundation of an idea to build.

MORE ABOUT THE CAPSTONE EXPERIENCE
The Capstone Experience accepts applications from BLI Members formed into Project Groups. Applicants have shown a commitment to developing leadership skills and have applied to this exclusive program in pursuit of a significant idea with an action plan to make that idea happen. These ideas range from social good to artistic expression to business innovations. The Capstone Experience accepts applications across the spectrum.
At The London Idea, we will select one group of Capstone Fellows whose idea most closely aligns with our values to be the London Idea Project.
HOW TO HELP
We will provide the chosen London Idea Project with financial support for their action plan, as well as a mentorship network and summer immersion program to help put them on the right track.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
We will provide the financial funding to seed the London Idea Project and send them on the advanced fellows retreat where they’ll participate in advanced leadership learning and develop their personal action plan.
Your donation will go towards seed funding to be used by students as they execute on their ideas as well as programming developed by The London Idea and The Barger Leadership Institute to foster the London Idea Project.
MENTORSHIP NETWORK
Through our network we’ll connect the group with a relevant mentor to help guide their idea and leadership development throughout the year. These are leadership professionals who can offer insight to our chosen students.
We are seeking to build a cross-country network of professionals from all fields who can offer mentorship and guidance to the chosen London Idea Project.
SUMMER IMMERSION
During the summer we will bring the group to Chicago, IL for a summer immersion program where they’ll meet their mentor and participate in a variety of in-field programming to help enhance their experience.
Programming and immersive learning are critical to The London Idea and the development of great leadership. We'd love to find great partners to build these experiences for the selected students.
